Brian Lutz is a talent manager and media entrepreneur whose career has been defined by early conviction, long arcs, and disciplined execution. He is known for identifying distinctive voices, shaping them at formative stages, and building commercially durable entertainment franchises at the intersection of Hollywood and technology.

Across film and television, Brian has been instrumental in the development, packaging, and sale of culturally resonant and commercially successful projects, including The Blacklist (218 episodes), Game Night ($117M worldwide), Neighbors ($150M worldwide), Megamind ($330M worldwide), and 17 Again ($136M worldwide).

Originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania, Brian moved to Los Angeles straight out of high school and began his career representing Vince Vaughn, working on the breakout cult classic Swingers. That early chapter set the tone for a decades-long career built on championing storytellers with singular perspective and shepherding projects that balance creative integrity with market clarity.

In addition to his management career, Brian has founded and scaled multiple companies. He is a co-founder of Mediachase — a modern e-commerce platform, later acquired by Optimizely — and Symbonic, an end-to-end IP operating system designed for media and entertainment businesses.

Brian’s work spans representation and production across both studio and independent ecosystems. His producing credits include Just Your Luck (starring Virginia Madsen, Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Flea, and John Lurie), Pink as the Day She Was Born from singer-songwriter-producer Linda Perry, and Accepted (Universal Pictures).

Respected equally for creative judgment and strategic dealmaking, Brian is known as a fiercely loyal advocate — trusted with million-dollar spec sales, multi-million-dollar overall deals, and global co-production and financing structures. His expertise spans creative development, commercial packaging, business development, and the evolving architecture of IP as a long-term asset.
